  Assassin's Creed Origins is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released in 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Set in ancient Egypt, the game follows a Medjay named Bayek as he works to protect his people and defend the kingdom against powerful forces threatening to take over. Players can explore the open world of Egypt and complete a variety of quests and missions, as well as engage in combat against enemies using a variety of weapons and abilities. The game received praise for its beautiful graphics, immersive world, and improved gameplay mechanics, such as the use of an eagle as a scouting tool. Family being haunted by a ghost in their old, Victorian-style home.

It was a cold, dark night and my family and I were gathered around the fireplace in our old, Victorian-style home. We had just finished dinner and were enjoying a game of cards when we started to hear strange noises coming from upstairs. At first, we dismissed it as the house settling, but the noises continued to grow louder and more erratic. Suddenly, we heard footsteps coming down the stairs and we all froze in fear. We quickly turned off the lights and huddled together, unsure of what was happening. The footsteps grew closer and we could hear heavy breathing and a low, guttural growling.
